Terms and Conditions My holiday Ireland - Small Print

‘My Holiday Ireland’ and ‘My Vacation Ireland’ are trading names of Limerick Travel Ltd. Limerick Travel Ltd. is full licensed and is government bonded. My Holiday Ireland Terms & Conditions are subject to the laws of the Republic of Ireland.

Prices

All prices quoted are in EURO.

Bookings

All bookings must be made a minimum of 3 working days (Monday-Friday) in advance of arrival date.

Deposit/Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is due at the time reservations are requested. The schedule of payments is as follows:

  • 25% deposit at time of booking
  • Remaining Balance of 75% due 8 weeks prior to date of arrival
  • 100% payment is required if a booking is made within 8 weeks date of arrival

Payments may be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or Bank Transfer/International Bank Draft.

We authorise MyholidayIreland.com, a Limerick Travel company to charge the card given with the grand total equivalent in Euro at the exchange rate prevailing at time of clearance.

Please note that tour space may be released or cancelled if any tour participant fails to meet any of the required payments schedule.  The total price of the tour is not guaranteed until My Holiday Ireland has received payment in full.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be submitted via fax or e-mail to My Holiday Ireland and are subject to the following cancellation charges:

  • From time of booking to 12 weeks prior to date of arrival – loss of deposit only
  • 9 to 12 weeks prior to date of arrival- 50% of total tour price
  • 8 weeks of less prior to date of arrival- 100% of the total tour price

In event of trip cancellation by My Holiday Ireland deposits and payments will be refunded in full.
My Holiday Ireland reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure.  My Holiday Ireland reserves the right to cancel any individuals’ participation in a tour, or any part thereof, by refunding a proportionate balance for the unused portion of the tour.

Refunds

All refunds for cancellations will be issued within 60 days of written notification. No refunds are made for any unused portion of any package.

Changes

Itinerary changes (numbers travelling, names, accommodation changes, dates, tee-times, courses, etc.) requested after time of booking will result in a charge of €25 per transaction.

All golf tours/packages will be re-priced at the time the changes are made, which may result in a price different from the original price quoted.  Changes less than 45 days prior to travel, cannot be made without the approval of the My Holiday Ireland.

Do we need travel insurance for the trip?

We recommend that all our clients take out travel insurance to cover against accident & baggage loss.  My Holiday Ireland is not liable for loss, damage or theft of luggage or personal belongings, or for personal injury, accident or illness, or cancellation of the trip.

What standard of rooms can we expect?

The majority of hotels in Ireland have 3 standards of rooms: Standard, Deluxe and a Suite.
My Holiday Ireland base all quotations on standard rooms, rates for deluxe or suite accommodation can be provided on request. Standard rooms normally have standard size beds (either two singles or a double). Deluxe rooms usually have a queen-size bed and a suite will typically have a king-size bed.
It is important to note that different hotels vary, so please inform us at the booking stage in order to secure your preferred size room or bed.

Transportation

Car rentals include unlimited mileage, time, local taxes and cdw insurance.
The minimum and maximum driver age restrictions apply (23 to 75 years).
Drivers 70 or over are subject to an insurance surcharge.
All drivers under 25 and all drivers 70 and over are liable for the first €1,200 – €2,100 of damage to the car (excess).
Drivers must have held a full driver’s licence for at least 12 months prior to hiring a car.
If you collect your vehicle from an Airport in Ireland you will have to pay an Airport Collection Fee of €28.00. This charge is payable locally at the rental desk and is common to most car rental companies in Ireland.
When you collect your vehicle you will also be asked to pay a Fuel Deposit. Fuel policies vary.
Please check when you pick up your car Personal accident insurance, and any other non-mandatory insurances are not included.

On trips where a chauffeured transfer or a dedicated chauffeur is included all transfers are based on the group travelling together. If participants within a group have varied arrival and departure arrangements then additional transfers may be required and are not included in the trip cost.

Visits, Entertainment and Other Features

My Holiday Ireland reserves the right to substitute visits, entertainment and other features when establishments are closed or cannot be visited for reasons beyond our control.

Tips

Tips for personal services and to tour directors and drivers are not included in tour cost and left to your discretion.

Not Included

All items of a personal nature (room service, beverages, telephone charges, laundry, special food requests, etc.) and meals not specified on the tour itinerary are not included and must be paid by the passenger.

Responsibility

My Holiday Ireland acts only as an agent for the chosen transport suppliers, coach tour operators,  accommodations, and golf green fees, and as such accepts no responsibility for:

  • Any loss of/or damage to property or injury to any person caused by reason of any defect
  • Negligence, or other wrongful act or omission of, or any failure of performance of any kind by: any transportation company, vendor or supplier
  • Any inconvenience or loss of enjoyment
  • Any delayed departure, missed connections; substitutions of accommodations, terminations of service, or change in fares or rates
  • Any cancellation or double bookings of reservations or tickets beyond the control of My Holiday Ireland

The company does not accept the responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes, quarantine, sickness, strikes, war, weather, acts of God or other causes. Such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the client.  Reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well being of the passengers, or changes as a result of unexpected conflicts not indicated in the itinerary. By embarking on his/her travel, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.
