This tour can also be taken with a chauffeur driven vehicle.

Day 2
Take the Ring of Kerry drive to Waterville & play one of the leading links courses made popular by the late Payne Stewart. Day 3
Today head for Tralee to play the course designed by Arnold Palmer.Opened in October 1984 Tralee Golf Course was the first European golf course designed by Arnold Palmer. When he first saw the area upon which his company was to build Tralee golf links, he was ecstatic about the possibilities. “I have never come across a piece of land so ideally suited for the building of a golf course” he said. Overnight in Killarney town centre.

Day 4
Head for heaven and a day to remember at the Old Head course at Kinsale. Designed by a combination of Ireland’s golfing heroes and design experts, the Old Head Golf Links is quite simply one of the most remarkable developments ever conceived in the history of golf; an Atlantic promontory that will never be rivaled in terms of drama and beauty. The course rises hundreds of feet above dramatic cliffs, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean on all sides and commanding the most spectacular views from almost every part. Overnight in Killarney.

Day 5
Today it’s Ballybunion Old and your chance to experience one of Europe’s finest courses. “Having played the Old Course many times since my first visit in 1981, I am now of the opinion it is one of the best and most beautiful tests of links golf anywhere in the world.”
Tom Watson – Millennium Captain Ballybunion Golf Club. Drive to Clare for final 3 nights of the holiday. Location of Overnights in County Clare, dependent on hotel grade required.

Play Lahinch Old, which recently has had a multi-million euro make over. The origins of Lahinch Golf Club go back to the closing decade of the nineteenth century. In 1892 officers of the famous Black Watch Regiment stationed in Limerick came upon a vast wilderness of duneland two miles from the spectacular Cliffs of Moher.

I tell them that I have got the best site in the world and it’s at Doonbeg in Ireland.” Greg Norman
