Day 1

Arrive at Shannon Airport. Collect your rental car & drive to Westport in County Mayo for a 3 night stay. Westport is a charming and colourful town. It is located in the shadow of Croagh Patrick mountain and has the beautiful Clew Bay on it’s doorstep. The town is lively and energetic with plenty of fine restaurants and live music.

Day 2

Today you will drive North from Westport and play County Sligo Golf Club. This course has hosted many of Ireland’s major championships in the past. There are three extended beaches keeping the Atlantic Ocean at Bay beneath the cliffs and the towering Benbulben mountain lies to the west of the course. This classic links boasts 27 holes and should be an inspiring first day of golf.

Day 3

Play Carne Golf Links today, in Belmullet, County Mayo. The course was designed by the late Eddie Hackett and is widely thought by many to be his greatest challenge. Carne is one of those great hidden gems. Located on the West Coast of Ireland, Carne overlooks Blacksod Bay, and the islands of Inis Geidhe, Inis Gluaire Islands and Achill. Carne lies in the sand dunes of a natural and unspoilt environment and does not disturb it’s beautiful surroundings.

Day 4
Today takes you to Enniscrone in County Sligo. It is a course that has invested a lot to maintain its premier status.The course is set in the scenic splendor of Killala Bay. This championship venue will certainly not disappoint – with it’s dramatic dunes land, superbly green all year round and breathtaking views. Enniscrone was originally designed by the great Eddie Hackett with an inspired design concept. The course reputation as a great golfing venue has been much furthered with the addition of six new holes which were brilliantly designed by the famous course architect, Donald Steele.

Tonight you will arrive in Galway City, where you will stay for two overnights. The “City of Tribes” is a place like no other in terms of atmosphere, culture and heritage. Spend some time exploring the city centre – Eyre Square, Shop street, Quay street and the Spanish Arch.

Day 5

Drive West today form Galway city & play Connemara Golf Course. Spend some time here today to appreciate the splendid backdrop of the course. Perched on the very edge of Europe with Ballyconneely Bay and it’s pure white sands, you will be impressed with this dramatic landscape. Connemara has played host to many famous golfers including Tom Watson, one of the great modern day players with many high profile victories, including The Open, US Open and US Masters. Overnight again in Galway City.

Day 6

Today you will travel South through County Clare and enjoy the scenic drive of the Burren Region. Play at the renowned Old Course at Lahinch Golf Club. The Old Course is one of two 18-hole courses at Lahinch Golf Club. The club is one of Ireland oldest dating back to 1892. The layout of the Old Course is a classic seaside links with undulating fairways. Covering the landscape are the towering dunes which guarantee that golfers will encounter several blind shots. The Atlantic coast with its’ unpredictable winds add an interesting challenge to the round. Tonight you will stay in the nearby town of Ennis in County Clare.

Day 7

Today after a hearty breakfast depart for Shannon Airport and your journey home.
